< SWAN SPACE >
A multidisciplinary performance project initiated by choreographer Chaery Moon, < SWAN SPACE > explores the journey of self-liberation through the language of the body. Drawing inspiration from the swan—a symbol of transformation and grace—the project investigates identity, rupture, and renewal across dance, sound, visual art, film, and media.

Following premieres in Seoul (2023) and New York (2024), the third iteration, Declaration of the Independent Self, was presented in Seoul in December 2024 with an expanded vision. Structured in three acts—The Body in Water, The Body at the Boundary, and The Body in Zero Gravity—the work transcended fixed notions of identity and invited audiences to partake in the experience of declaring one’s independent self (獨立) through immersive, multisensory expression.

2024 Arts Creation Support Project Selection — Hosted and organized by Chaery Moon. Sponsored by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture.
